The Metal

Gold

All pieces presented on this site are crafted from 24-karat gold. 18-karat gold, composed of 75% pure gold, is reserved for functional elements that require greater durability for everyday wear. Thanks to its exceptional malleability, high-karat gold can be shaped into forms that would otherwise be impossible to achieve. Its rich, deep yellow colour has long been associated with warmth, prestige and timeless beauty.

The Stones

Diamonds

Natural diamonds were formed deep within the Earth’s mantle billions of years ago under immense heat and pressure. Composed entirely of carbon, they are the hardest known natural material. Each diamond possesses a unique internal structure and distinctive light performance, ensuring that no two are ever identical. Through the precise art of cutting, guided by proportion, symmetry and polish, its brilliance and fire are revealed, transforming a rough crystal into a gemstone of enduring beauty.

Diamonds are cut into a wide variety of shapes, including Round Brilliant, Emerald, Oval, Cushion and many others, each revealing a different quality of light and character.

Certificate

A GIA certificate is provided with diamonds weighing 0.50 carats or more, and is also available upon request for smaller stones.

Functionality

Clasps, Mechanisms and Everything In Between

Due to its natural softness, pure 24-karat gold is not suitable for certain structural components of jewellery. For this reason, clasps, posts, earring clips and other functional elements are crafted in 18-karat gold, an alloy containing 75% pure gold, chosen for the strength and durability required for everyday wear.

The Final
Stamp

Stamps

Karat stamps indicate the purity of the gold used in a piece of jewellery. Expressed in parts of twenty-four, they represent the proportion of pure gold to alloyed metals. For example, 24 karat denotes pure gold, while 18 karat indicates an alloy containing 75% pure gold. These stamps are typically applied discreetly, such as inside a ring or on the reverse of a clasp, ensuring transparency and accurate identification of the materials used.

Each piece bears a 24-karat stamp. Where functional components are crafted in 18-karat gold, an additional stamp is applied to identify those elements accordingly.
